Hi! I’m Chrissy, a 24-year-old photographer, traveler, and grad student (not necessarily in that order).

This blog has been around in various forms for a couple of years, but it really took off in the fall of 2010. After graduating from the University of Virginia the previous spring, I had moved to Strasbourg, France to study French and see as much of Europe as possible in the year before I started grad school.

Initially, I was just intending to keep a record of my experiences adjusting to French culture. After awhile, keeping an online journal became a new way for me to think about photography, traveling, and even the mundane details of my life.
